THE BOTTOM LINE OF WICCA AND THE DEVIL POWER BEING WIELDED THROUGHOUT SOCIETY
(INCLUDING IN VISIBLE CHURCHES)

Wiccans are told that there is no Satan, BUT basically at the same time they are taught to harness and use Satan's power (calling him by a variety of names in the variety of stories that they are told). SATAN DOES NOT CARE WHAT YOU CALL HIM, whether "Pan," "horned god," "Cernunnos," "lord," "1-2-3-4," "Kundalini," "Shiva," "Great Mother," "Holy Mother Earth," etc. The only thing that Satan requires is that a person is disobedient to the holy scriptures, the Bible (Authorized Version of 1611).

Satan is the agency by which witchcraft works. The nature "deities"/gods/etc. are devils. The lights, etc. in "meditation" are the work of devils. THE RITUALS, stories, lies, and sins performed and told in the witchcraft coven (or in a so-called "church") ARE A CALL TO SATAN. Spells, enchantments, contemplative "prayers", "meditation" sessions, etc. are summons to the dragon, that old serpent called the Devil and Satan.

All disobedience summons the devil--but witches actively seek supernatural power to get and use that power (whether for so-called "good" white purposes or for black magic). They perform certain actions in order to achieve power. Satan responds to this--and everything that Satan does is evil (whether the witchcraft practitioner knows this or not).

Many have been deceived into believing the stories of Wicca, but the Lord knoweth them that are his. God's people will believe the truth and will be saved and will walk away from what held them bound, including Wicca (there are testimonies of former witches further down in the article you are now reading).

American society is now much infested with doctrines of devils--both inside and outside of visible churches. In contemplative "prayer", witchcraft, magic, sorcery, enchantment, meditation, TM, reiki, wizardry, monthly prognostication, mystical traditions (e.g., Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox, kabbalistic), etc. the devil is summoned, gets a body to influence or possess, and performs some lying signs, wonders, miracles and/or produces havoc in the possessed person.

At this point, masses of people from seemingly very different backgrounds and beliefs can get together in a single room and jointly invoke "the power of their own understanding" (whether it is a "god" or their own "self" or even a "Jesus"). How can they all have a successful experience in this if all are calling on a different understanding? It is because they are all contacting the same deceiver, SATAN. He does not care what you call him. Anyone being disobedient to the Bible places himself under the power or influence of the devil. The devil can appear in various forms. He is even transformed into an angel of light and his ministers are transformed into ministers of righteousness (reference 2 Corinthians 11:14). It can seem like what they (the devil and his human agents) are saying is good--but if a spirit's or a person's words contradict the Holy Bible (Authorized Version of 1611), it is because there is no light in that person or spirit. This includes "channeled" spirits.

CONTACTING THE DEVIL DIRECTLY

The only thing required to call up Satan is disobedience to the Bible; however, men have found and cultivated methods of contacting the devil in a more direct manner. To keep "westerners" from being scared, they say that it is not the devil. They say it is something else, with church people they say that it is "God". Yoga, eastern meditation, and contemplative "prayer" are examples of the "contacting god directly" methods. Although many in America may not know it, yoga, etc. is an invitation to the [kundalini] serpent power to rise up. Satan is the serpent. Westerners are being told that man is god (basically the same lie that Satan told Eve in the book of Genesis, "and ye shall be as gods...") and they just have to realize this. The reality is that man is not god and what they are seeking is Satan rising up in their bodies and devils infesting them and doing their bidding. They may think that they are in control, but that is a lie. The devil has possession of them. Some people are already worshipping devils. In reading the book of Revelation, it looks like this practice will increase--the worshipping of devils. Those that die in their sins will go to hell and eventually the lake of fire that burneth with fire and brimstone. Time will one day end and the devil will also be cast into the lake of fire. All who go to hell and the lake of fire will be tormented day and night for ever.

TWO DEVIL WORSHIPPING PATHS

A famous devil worshipping individual boiled down the serpent/devil path of life in this way [Aside: I counsel no one to read the writings of devil worshippers. May what is read in this article be enough. We just repent of our sins and get saved and move on in life.]. The person said that there are basically two different types of people who will worship Satan. They will take two different paths in worshipping the devil: (1) the compassionate path and (2) the self path. That is a short, pithy outline in which to be able to place practitioners of various "traditions". Wiccans often proclaim that they use their powers for "good" (compassionate path) whereas an atheist or straight out black magic sorcerer is out for whatever he wants (self path)--this is not to say that an atheist might not decide to go on the "compassionate" path. The "compassionate" path is just as deadly as the "self" path. Proverbs 12:10 states that even the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. A deceived Wiccan leading a person astray unto hellfire in the name of "compassion" is cruel. A group of Wiccans saying, "The Bible is a myth. Come join us and let us draw on the power of Lucifer," is not a good invitation, even if they are smiling. They may be smiling now, hemming and hawing, peeping and muttering, blaspheming, and casting all caution to the wind, but there will be no smiles in hell, absolutely none. Now is the time to avoid this and get saved or--for those already involved--to get out.

Wicca is purportedly a "back to nature" type pagan organization reminiscent of the service of Baalim and the groves. The Bible reveals that such activities are done unto the devil, Satan.

1 Corinthians 10:19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

FALSE TEACHERS POSSESS NO LIGHT, BUT THEY MASQUERADE AS IF THEY ARE SHARING TRUE KNOWLEDGE

Today the various false prophets and teachers are blaspheming God and telling lies. Anybody who is speaking against the word of God does so because there is no light in them.

Isaiah 8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

22 And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.

The devil is a liar, he is the father of the lie and his agents lie because they are under his power.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

PEOPLE CAN BE DELIVERED FROM THESE EVIL THINGS

People can turn from these things and be reconciled unto God.

Isaiah 17:7 At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.

8 And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.

PREFACE

People are confused. The visible church is generally fallen away from the holy scriptures (the Bible) and people are not hearing the truth. Instead, they are filled up with television, schooling, books, movies, music, newspapers, and lies from various sources. People are listening to all kinds of lies. Some are becoming witches in Wicca witchcraft. Some of them even say that they are Christian witches which is an utter impossibility. They are deceived. These end times are times of deception.

Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, TAKE HEED THAT NO MAN DECEIVE YOU.

Matthew 24:11 And MANY FALSE PROPHETS shall rise, and SHALL DECEIVE MANY.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, *IF* it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. [It is not possible to deceive God's people because they read and believe the Bible. No matter what kind of great signs and wonders we see, we will not be deceived BECAUSE WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE AND, PRAISE THE LORD, WE HAVE ALREADY BEEN WARNED!]

2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. [IS THERE NOT TREMENDOUS EVIL IN THE EARTH TODAY? IS IT NOT GETTING WORSE AND WORSE? PEOPLE ARE DECEIVING AND BEING DECEIVED!]

2 John 1:7 For MANY DECEIVERS ARE ENTERED INTO THE WORLD, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

The spirits that Wiccans worship are deceiving them--they are actually Satan and his angels--

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and SATAN, which DECEIVETH THE WHOLE WORLD: HE WAS CAST OUT INTO THE EARTH, AND HIS ANGELS were cast out with him.

Satan is masquerading as an angel of light in order to deceive Wiccans and his agents, people, are transformed as ministers of righteousness and people are listening to them.

2 Corinthians 11:14 ...SATAN HIMSELF IS TRANSFORMED INTO AN ANGEL OF LIGHT. [A devil or a man can tell you a lie with a smile on his face and/or a luminescence surrounding him!]

2 Corinthians 11:15 THEREFORE IT IS NO GREAT THING IF HIS MINISTERS ALSO BE TRANSFORMED AS THE MINISTERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; whose end shall be according to their works. [Maybe you get a warm, cozy feeling from being around certain persons, but if they are not speaking according to the Bible, which is God's word, it is because there is no light in them (Isaiah 8:20). Wiccans need to REPENT and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and his holy word! Time is running out!]

Some Wiccans say that they are "Christian" witches. This is an utter impossibility. The Bible condemns witchcraft--

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Galatians 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Galatians 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Those that do not inherit the kingdom of God will go to hell and the lake of fire (the devil will not be ruling in the lake of fire--he will be tormented day and night for ever and ever). Hell is real notwithstanding the fact that some deny it exists.

Wiccans may believe that their powers are for good and that the spirits that they worship are good, but those spirits are deceiving them.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

There is not a just man upon earth that doeth good and sinneth not (ref. Ecclesiastes 7:20). We all deserve to go to hell and the lake of fire. But God loved us and sent his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. We must REPENT of our sins and BELIEVE in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and OBEY the word of God, the Bible. Testimonies of former witches:

WICCA WITCHCRAFT

Wicca witchcraft calls itself "white witchcraft". This supposedly denotes that Wiccans only do "good" witchcraft. Where did the people of our society get the impression that witchcraft is good? I believe that it has been the incessant movies and tv shows that show witchcraft and spiritism in a favorable, although imaginary light. Shows like--

  • Bewitched,
  • I Dream of Jeannie,
  • Sabrina the Good (or Teen) Witch,
  • Cinderella and her fairy godmother (and other Disney movies featuring magic); and,
  • Casper the Friendly Ghost.

According to the Bible, there is no such thing as a good witch. In a day of relativism and deceit,
we need to cling to the Bible, the word of God. It will keep us safe.

We define good or bad in relation to the Bible and the Bible ALONE, not our own logic.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

In this article, we are going to examine some Wiccan beliefs and practices. Any objective person will find that Wicca is made up of fables, vain imagination, paganism, blasphemy, lies, tales, heresay, and a seemingly endless list of ceremonies, magick, sabbats, etc. According to former Wiccan High Priest, Bill Schnoebelen, the serious practitioner of Wicca will find himself going to deeper depths which lead further into the worship of Lucifer (which is what some people call Satan).

I personally hear from Wiccans, pagans, Satanists, Buddhists, etc. And all of these groups have something in common--the devil (whether they call him "Lucifer", Kundalini, the horned god, Pan, Cernunnos, Dionysus, Osiris, Bacchus, etc.). Why would people worship the devil? Ultimately because he offers what they like -- "DO WHAT THOU WILL shalt be the whole of the law".

wiccan rede (motto/creed): "An' it harm none, DO WHAT THOU WILL."

satanic creed: "DO WHAT THOU WILL shall be the whole of the law"

It is the same thing. Do what you feel like doing. That will never work with God. We must repent of our sins in order to be saved, not continue in them. Whoremongers, thieves, sodomites, liars, adulterers, etc. are not going into the kingdom of God. God is holy. He made us and he knows what is best for us. I am glad that I am saved. All that misery that I was once engaged in, and was victimized by, is a distant memory. At this link is the testimony of a former Wiccan who came to the Lord Jesus Christ.

The pentagram symbol for witchcraft (pentwicc.gif) is the upside down pentagram for Satanism (pentsata.gif). In Satanism, they will draw the horned god in this pentagram. The top two points represent his horns. [Note: I discourage anyone from looking closely at these symbols, that is why they are no longer on this page. As I recall, there are stark similarities between Wicca and the masonic lodge in terms of a certain oath and the calling of the uninitiated, "cowans". There is more to this than what is explored in this introductory article. The people are being led by a certain sector into a wholesale worship of the devil himself. As people are influenced by the spirits that they contact through witchcraft, contemplative "prayer", "meditation", yoga, etc. their abhorrence of the truth will increase. The beast is coming. He and the dragon (Satan) that gives him power will be worshipped by all that dwell upon the earth, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world*. The beast will blaspheme God (as is already happening in the earth) and it will be given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them.]

*The Lord Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who died and shed his blood to pay for our sins. He did not remain in the grave, he rose from the dead on the third day. All power is given him in heaven and in earth (see Matthew 28:18) and he is coming back again to judge the world. The evils of this generation will not last for ever.

When people do not obey the word of God, God will send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12). Those seeking the truth will come to the Lord Jesus Christ and he will clean them up from their filthy deeds, whereas the Devil basically says "Do what you feel like doing, my people!" Unfortunately, many people say "yes" to the devil and go right on in death--fornication, whoredom, abortion, lasciviousness, licentiousness, drunken stupors, astral travel, magic, necromancy, familiar spirits, hugging trees, seeking hidden/occultic wisdom--anything but worshipping the Lord Jesus. Their deeds are earthly, sensual, DEVILISH.

THE DEVIL IN DISGUISE

Some people think that they are not worshipping the devil because they call him by some name besides, "Devil" or "Satan". The devil is often working under the disguise of another name (e.g., horned god, Pan, Dionysus, etc.). He does not care what you call him (it could be "sun" or "moon" or "lord"), all he wants is for you to be disobedient to God's word. Disobedience is all it takes to find the devil and to be under his power.

Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, THE SPIRIT THAT now WORKETH IN THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE:

3 Among whom also we ALL had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Some people have been deceived into worshipping what they call "Lucifer." It is said that Lucifer means "Light-bearer."

I read on a theosophy/devil worshipping type website that "Lucifer" is basically a hero that brought light to man (in actuality, SATAN TEMPTED MAN TO DISOBEY GOD AND DIE!). Satan's policy is unchanged--he tempts men to sin that man might die and go to hell and the lake of fire that burneth with fire and brimstone).

When occult workers speak of spiritual guides, familiar spirits, ascended masters, etc. they are talking about the Devil and his angels--whether they know it or not (some do know it very well and are actively deceiving people into worshipping the devil--there is an horrible literature on the earth that speaks to the depths of Satan--one does not even want to read one sentence. The time is coming when the earth and all the works that are therein shall be dissolved (see 2 Peter 3:10)--nothing that the agents of Satan do will last. It will all be burned up and dissolved. God will create a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. In new Jerusalem there shall be peace (see Revelation chapter 21). "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life" (Revelation 21:27). Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth (Saint Matthew 5:5).)...

Occult workers (witches, enchanters, wizards, magicians, sorcerers, etc.) are interfacing with devils. Their spells and rituals and enchantments work through the agency of devils. People at the lower levels of these groups may not realize the role of Satan (they may think that are just working with a "force" or an "energy" or a friendly-type spirit), but, from what I have read, the higher ups recognize that they are working with Satan.

"But," some Wiccan witch may protest, "how can I worship Satan if I don't believe he exists?" If you are not serving Jesus, you are serving the devil de facto. Each man is in one of two states--

saved from his sins by the blood of Jesus and obedient to the word of God (Authorized King James Version of 1611 of the Bible)

or

unsaved, disobedient to the Bible, and doing whatever he feels like doing.

The information on this webpage about Wicca is taken primarily from a book entitled, "Wicca: Satan's Little White Lie" by Bill Schnoebelen. This book gives insight into the web of confusion, lies, fables, myths, and deceit found in Wicca. Mr. Schnoebelen was--

"initiate into the Alexandrian Wicca on Imbolc, February 2, 1973 and made a High Priest and Magus in September of the same year. That summer his lady and he were also promoted to the High Priestly rank in the Druidic Craft of the Wise. They also helped establish a Church of All Worlds 'nest' in Milwaukee and studied under Gavin and Yvonne Frost and their Church and School of Wicca. They presided over one of the oldest and largest networks of covens in the Midwest."

Bill Schnoebelen eventually went on to Satanism.

[Aside: As I recall, Wicca: Satan's Little White Lie went quite a bit into the uncleanness Wicca and I therefore discarded the book (may the basic information in this article you are reading be an adequate overview). I have gone on to examine later works of Mr. Schnoebelen and it seems that he may have veered off into what is reminiscent of the unbiblical "Hebrews Roots of Christianity" movement. May no one leave one error for another. May we get saved, read the Bible, and obey it as it is written.]

WICCANS SAY THAT WICCA IS OLDER THAN "CHRISTIANITY"

Wicca adherents will tell you over and over that Wicca is older than "Christianity." There is no "Christianity" ("Christianity" is neither a Bible word nor a Bible concept, for Christians there is only a kingdom, the kingdom of God). Nothing is older than the kingdom of God. God is eternal. He created heaven and earth and nothing predates him. From the days of the first man, Adam, through the present day, God has continuously built a spiritual house composed of living stones--men, women, boys and girls (see I Peter 2:5, Ephesians 2:20-22, 2 Corinthians 6:16, I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19). These are people who have believed in him in every age, have exercised faith in him, and have worshipped him. God is a builder.

Ephesians 2:19-22 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the HOUSEHOLD of God; And are built upon the FOUNDATION of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the CHIEF CORNER STONE; In whom all the BUILDING fitly FRAMED together GROWETH unto an holy TEMPLE in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an HABITATION of God through the Spirit.

In terms of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the book of Revelation reveals to us that he is the Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world--God made provision for man's forgiveness from the beginning. There was no "wicca" before the beginning. Although witchcraft has been around for some time, below, we will read that wicca's roots are shallow and recent. Wicca was raised up in OPPOSITION to the worship of the true God.

"...IT SEEMED THAT WICCA IS, IN FACT, A MANUFACTURED RELIGION NOT MUCH OLDER THAN THIS [TWENTIETH] CENTURY."

Wiccans consider wicca as the old religion, but it appears that as a group wicca is not old. Wiccans believe the lies that their leaders have taught them. This should be no surprise because their father, the devil, is the "father of lies" (see John 8:44). And because they have not received the love of the truth, the Lord has given them over to strong delusion that they should believe, and defend, lies. According Mr. Schnoebelen on page 11 of his book on Wicca--

"Although much of the extant literature written by witches (and Dr. Margaret Murray's work) would lead one to believe that Wicca is a survival of the ancient pagan fertility cults, especially of Northern Europe and the British Isles; there is not a shred of real historical proof for any connection between Bronze Age cults and modern witchcraft."

"...it seemed that Wicca is, in fact, a manufactured religion not much older than this [twentieth] century. There did not seem to be evidence for any Book of Shadows (a combined "bible" and ritual book for Wiccans) much older than the 1910's. [the Book of Shadows was probably the result of a collaboration between Gerald Gardner and the notorious Satanist Aleister Crowley, p. 22]"

Although Wicca is new, the forces behind Wicca are not new. Wicca is the same devil worship and rejection of God that has been going on for centuries, yea, millenia. It's simply been warmed over and served to a spiritually devastated world.

BASICS OF WICCA

Cult name: Wicca.

Founder: Gerald B. Gardner (1884-1964). In 1949 Gardner wrote a book entitled, "High Magic's Aid". He wrote under his witchcraft name, "Scire". This novel set the tone for the myth of Wicca. According to Little White Lie--

"Gardner claimed there were covens of witches in Britain practicing not an anti-Christian religion, but a "pre-Christian" religion. This, he claimed, was called Wicca...

"This he asserted, was the 'Old Religion,' an animistic worship of the principals of nature and reproduction; rather like a warmed-over rehash of Fraser's anthropological chestnut, THE GOLDEN BOUGH. The gods of this Old Religion were a supreme Mother Goddess who ruled the earth, the moon, the sea, and things agricultural. Her secret name (in his coven anyway) was ARAYDA. There was also a Horned God who ruled the sun and hunting, who was variously called Herne, Cernunnos or Pan.

"Thus, Wicca was not an attack on Christianity[1], but was supposedly a much older religion whose gods were old when Yahweh[2] of the Bible was in knee pants. According to Gardner, witches worshipped naked (or "skyclad" as he preferred to call it) and were matriarchal..."

[1] [our note: they may say that Wicca is not an attack "Christianity", but in an act of duplicity, they go on to attack and deny the holy scriptures--they call Satan a Christian myth. An old word that is good to know these days is "duplicity". Duplicity is basically when a person says that two different things are true, as in,

Breath One: "We are not against Christianity."

Breath Two: "Christians are cowans. Satan is a Christian myth. Christians slander Lucifer. Christians..."

Duplicity is seen a lot these day with modern deceivers as they seek to attack and overcome the predominant view in America--America has not been a country of magicians. The historic God of America has been the God of the Bible. The deceivers come in with, "We are not against Christianity." Then they turn around with "Satan is a Christian myth." The reason that they can get away with this is because Americans are sinful and disobedient to the word of God making them subject to the deceitfulness of sin. They may be scared of the name "Satan" but if somebody tells them a long drawn out fairy story, they will believe it because they received not the love of the truth. It does not take much to topple and deceive disobedient people. In duplicity, the person (or organization) will say one thing and do or say the exact opposite and still act like both are true. I used to call this phenomena, "Both". It is actually very strange that someone would knowingly do such a thing. Such a strategy is like the depths of Satan. They do this to make you think that they are one way but they go on to do something which is the exact opposite. Wicca presents as an attack to get people to worship Satan through fanciful mythological story lies.]

Many higher level witches understand that Wicca is a compilation of myths; nevertheless, like Carl Jung they perceive that myths have a life of their own and even if they are not literally true they still have an archetypal power all their own. So a lie can be the truth. But the Bible says--

Back to Wicca: Satan's Little White Lie--

"It is now a matter of common knowledge that much of Gardner's story is fiction. Yet, most witches aren't bothered by that. Since the seventies, many witches wanted to be totally creative and make up their religion out of their heads--without trying to make any pretentious claims about having "unbroken lines of power" back to medieval "Kings" of the witches. Most Neo-pagan groups fall into this category. They are based on myths, fantasy or even science-fiction stories."

Reader, could you imagine basing your life on science-fiction? That is vain imagination. My life based on fairy stories from unholy-wood? My life based on fairy stories and legends? Basing my life on fables? But you see the scriptures have come to pass on our society--

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Timothy 4:4

Wicca didn't end with Gardner. Alex Sanders (aka "King of the Witches") came up with his own brand of Wicca but,

"By the early 70's there were dozens of traditions of Wicca; some splintered off Gardner or Sanders but most were totally original. There were ethnic witches like the Welsh Traditionalists (headed by a homosexual [sodomite], Ed Bucyzinksi), Georgian, Nordic, Sicilian Stregoi, Hispanic Brujeria and the Druidic Craft from Scotland, plus the [controversial] but highly successful Church of Wicca of Gavin and Yvonne Frost. (p. 17)

"There are many differences between these dozens of groups. Some worked nude, others robed. Some whipped, most didn't. Some used ritual s-- or even or----, some abstained. A few common elements can be found, though, in all Wicca and Neo-Paganism:

  1. A polytheistic world-view; usually a god/goddess pair.
  2. A belief in "westernized" reincarnation (no moving backward to incarnate as animals, just moving forward to be reborn as humans)
  3. A shamanic worldview similar to animism (the belief that all objects have life and souls) which includes strong ecological overtones and often an openness to some drugs.
  4. Most are militantly feminist and politically left-wing, even anarchistic; although there are exceptions.
  5. A "do your own thing" morality, as long as it doesn't "hurt anybody." This often included free sexual activity at least within the group.
  6. An "Aquarian" view of human destiny--the seed bed from which was grown much of the New Age movement--the notion that persons can evolve spiritually through their own efforts and ultimately attain either enlightenment or even godhood.

It is easy to see that with values like this, Wicca took off like a rocket among the "hippie" generation... (p. 18-19)

Overview of the group: Wicca claims to be "a back to nature" type religion that worships the sky and earth. It is goddess worship. Some Wiccans proudly tote bumper stickers that say, "In Goddess We Trust". Their chief deity is the Great Mother, "Holy Mother Earth". According to Mr. Schnoebelen, there is a certain charm and nostalgic fantasy to Wicca. Wicca transports folks from the high-tech world of today to cultures past, to fantasy, to science FICTION. In other words, they are toted away from REALITY.

"Add to this intriguing stew, Satan added such notions as ecology, environmental awareness and feminism." p. 19

NOTES ON WICCA AND ITS TENETS GLEANED FROM MR. SCHNOEBELEN'S BOOK

  • Wicca has many denominations/sects/traditions. Some are large like the Alexandrian, Gardnerian, Druidic, Welsh Traditionalist, Georgian, Dianic, and Church of Wicca. Others are as small as a single coven of 13 or family tradition.
  • Wiccans say Wicca means "wise one". Mr. Schnoebelen states that the Oxford English Dictionary defines Wicca as, "twisted, bent, or warped". Wiccan writers admit this on some level (p. 12-13).
  • Satanism is just a perversion of Christianity whereas Wicca is an older, purer faith which stood on its own merits. Answer: Not so. They blasphemously say that Satan is a Christian myth and then go on to teach people how to summon and harness the power of Satan as they call him by various names. In America, most people are scared of witchcraft and Satan--in an act of obvious duplicity Wicca goes on to teach people how to summon and harness the power of Satan and call him by various names.

    THE DEVIL DOES NOT CARE WHAT PEOPLE CALL HIM--whether "Holy Mother Earth," "Pan," "Lucifer," "1-2-3-4," or even "Jesus"--just as long as they are disobedient to the holy scriptures (Authorized Version of 1611). As concerns Satan being a perversion of "Christianity", the entity of Satan is seen not only found in the New Testament, but also in the Old Testament was was before there were any Christians (see further down for Old Testament scriptures that mention "Satan").

  • Wiccans are told lies about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. People, not just Wiccans, are being led to commit the sin that hath never forgiveness. People are nigh to and, in some cases, actually repeating the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. The Lord Jesus Christ worked his works through the Holy Ghost and by no other means. Witches and magicians work theirs through the techniques and agency of that old serpent call the Devil and Satan. Any ignorant person who has done this ignorantly needs to REPENT of this immediately and call on the name of the Lord and ask him for forgiveness, and serve him by obeying his holy word.

    At this time, devil-worshipping forces are joining together with a common message that joins ignorant church people and all other rebels--they blasphemously contend that no mediator is required for man. In so doing, they openly deny that Jesus is the Christ, the anointed one, the holy one of God, the mediator, the redeemer, they only way to God. They send their message in different ways with different people. For the ignorant and/or wicked church people, they say that the church people can "contact god directly" through the contemplative prayer movement. We, of purpose, use a small "g" on that god, because their god is the devil. In the contemplative movement, we see various "mystical" traditions come together using remarkably similiar techniques for contacting Satan. Vain repetition, silencing the mind, being still, basically emptying out one's head so that the devil can come itn. These things used to be hidden, now they are out in the open. This grievous situation will not continue, the beast is not far off, and neither is the coming of the Lord.

  • Neo-pagan writer Tim ("Otter") Zell says it is an "old religion for a new age". A generation that turns from the God of the Bible is deceived enough to embrace a lie that fits in with their lusts, earth worship, spiritual voids, love of science FICTION, romanticism, and adopted legends. In other words, anything that feeds their flesh. This is vain imagination.
  • Non-witches are "cowans".
  • Wiccans say that Satan is a Christian myth. Reality: The name of Satan is in the New Testament and in the Old Testament which was before there were any people called Christians. The name of Satan is also found in an edition of the Old Testament published by The Jewish Publication Society of America, circa 1955 (the publication does not include the New Testament).

  • Many Wiccans start out refusing to do any magick which would influence people against their wills. This oftentimes doesn't last long.
  • The Wiccan Rede, is "an it harm none, do what ye will". It is perilously close to Crowley's (a Satanist) commandment, "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law."

NOTES ON WICCA RITES FOUND IN THE BOOK

  • they think that their rites benefit humanity and the earth. Performed to nature deities like Pan, Diana, Cernunnos (these are all devils. Magic works by the agency of devils).
  • perform rites of passage and initiation--Mr. Schnoebelen stood blindfolded, naked and bound at the edge of the Circle "which is placed between the worlds". He was anointed as a Priest of the Goddess and learned her secret name. "She is supposedly the One 'who was with me from the beginning, and who was attained at the end of desire.'"
  • for those who would progress further in Wicca they get into a relationship with the Lord of the Underworld, the Dark Lord of Death. This Dark Lord of Death is the darker aspect of Cernunnos or Lucifer, the Horned God of Wicca.   • as the Wiccan progresses, he is told to essentially embrace the dark side of his nature (the Bible calls it sin) just like the goddess went down to the Lord of Death. Miriam Starhawk, a leading thinker of the Wicca movement wrote,
    "The depths of our beings are not all sunlit; to see clearly we must be able to dive into the dark, inner abyss and acknowledge the creatures we may find there. p. 31

    What kind of creatures are you going to find there Starhawk (they seem to adopt many fantastical names)? I'll tell you what kind--DEVILS! She may not call them by name, but I will-- DEVILS!

  • Satan is a Biblical myth, and a slander on the true god of light, Lucifer (Lucifer is the devil, Satan) p. 38. This sounds 100% like theosophy and straight out devil worship. I have read something of this nature on a Luciferian devil-worshipping website. Now we get to the real roots of Wicca--Satan. In acts of obvious duplicity, they keep talking about this evil spirit being a myth while simultaneously getting ignorant people to worship him and contact him through their stories and lies.
  • They disrespect the God of the Bible. p. 38-39
  • With the institutionalization of "Christianity" in the fourth century [this should read, "Catholicism" which was founded in approximately 312 A.D. by Roman emperor Constantine. The Roman Catholic Church is not Christian] all the true secrets of Jesus [I have deleted what was here. I encourage all to leave any study of wicca and evil alone.].
  • Lucifer (often known as Bel, Lugh, Herne, Faunus, Pan or Cernunnos) was the true god and that Satan was a boogy-man manufactured by Christians (Satan is found in the New Testament AND the Old Testament as well, which PRE-DATES the Christian church (see elsewhere in this article for Old Testament scriptures that mention "Satan." Westerners--like Americans--are scared of Satan. Devil worshippers know this so they call Satan by others name and trick people. From what I have seen, it seems that devil worshippers started calling Satan "Lucifer" in the 1800s. It is as if by calling the devil by some other name, westerners (like Americans) can be tricked into worship him--which is exactly what has happened. As people continue under the influences and sins of Satan, it seems that they will eventually worship him outright and will not care that they are worshipping Satan--they will go ahead and outwardly worship the one who they already worship in their sins. As I recall, Bill Schnoebelen testified in one of his books that as some Wiccans want more power they will study Satanism in order to "advance". I believe that was the case with him).

  • Page 235 of Lucifer Dethroned (also by William Schnoebelen) speaks of the importance of the Grail legend to the deceived Wiccan. I mention this only to broach the subject of the grail legend and wicca but do not suggest that anyone read Lucifer Dethroned (as I recall, "Lucifer Dethroned" was another "throwaway book").

"White Lie" shows the relationship between the leaders of Wicca (Gardener and Sanders) and Aleister Crowley this [twentieth] century's most infamous SATANIST. Crowley proclaimed himself the wickedest man in the world and Mega Therion, the Great Beast. The following is an excerpt from the internet--

...another of Wicca's main sources is Aleister Crowley. Many knowledgeable Wiccans (e.g. the Farrars and Doreen Valiente) do realize that Gardner's rituals were heavily based on Crowley's rituals, though they tend to overstate the "Crowley was not a Satanist" disclaimer.

Crowley was into Satanic symbolism, in addition to the zillion other things he was into. In some defensive neo-Pagan writings (e.g. the Church of All Worlds booklet "Witchcraft, Satanism, and Occult Crime: Who's Who and What's What"), it is claimed that Crowley was neither a Satanist nor a Pagan but was just into Judaeo-Christian ceremonial magick [the "Judaeo-Christian" terminology may be a reference to mystical traditions in Judaism (kabbalism), Roman Catholicism (mysticism; contemplative-prayer/vain repetition-type activities), and Greek Orthodox Hesychast mystical tradition]. In fact, Crowley was very eclectic. Even Golden Dawn ceremonial magick included not only Qabalah and the medieval [so-called] Christian grimoires, but also Egyptian deities, Greek deities, and Yoga. Crowley emphasized the Egyptian elements, downplayed the [so-called] Christian elements, and added plenty of other things to the mix, including Satanic imagery galore (such as his invocation of Satan in Liber Samekh, not to mention his constant references to himself as "the Beast 666"). Some will insist that Crowley's Satanic symbolism was merely a joke; but Crowley's attitudes were well within the 19th-century Satanic literary tradition...Others will explain that most of Crowley's Satanic symbolism can be re-interpreted in Pagan terms, but this too is true of many forms of Satanism.

Of some, the Bible says that their conscience is seared with a hot iron. That means that it doesn't work anymore. They have done so much evil that they are PAST feeling. Anyone who thinks tortured children is "good" has a reprobate mind--and then has the nerve to shamelessly make it known. [I don't know if there is any hope for that woman or not.] I am glad that heaven is a place where there will be no murderers, no crooks, no liars, no sodomites, no thieves, no tale bearers, no sorcerers, no dogs, no whoremongers, no drunkards, etc.--SUCH WERE SOME OF US CHRISTIANS, I WAS ONE! I was a whoremonger and a murderer. I had an abortion and felt relieved about it for a long time and now I am so sorry that I killed my child that would have loved me. He or she (or they) would be an adult at this time and would have been my friend. I may have been expecting my first grandchild soon, but no. I gave Satan my firstborn. Yes, I was filthy too and if it were not for God's grace and mercy, I would still be lost. The fear of the Lord is CLEAN and it makes wise the simple. Men can be saved. If anybody reading this is looking for the truth, it is found in the Lord Jesus Christ. You have to repent of your sins and believe in him. That he shed his blood for you sins, that he died and that he rose from the dead on the third day. If you repent of your sins, come to him on his terms, he will save you and lead and guide you through his word, the Authorized King James Bible and give you abundant life. Pray and read his word and hearken to it and rend yourself from all evil, including that filthy television. You will receive a whole new life full of wonder and purpose.

The visible church today is largely false (I don't know of one good one) and there are people leaving it to find a spiritual experience. Berit Kjos wrote a book about this phenomena in her book Twist of Faith (I believe that it is found online in its entirety at http://www.crossroad.to/Books/TwistofFaith--I believe this was a "throwaway book", I do not think it took much of a glance to put it to the side). According to her book, some are leaving because of the church's deaf ear to environmental concerns. The Bible has a lot to say about the creation, the environment, food, flora, fauna, and, in Revelation, it tells us that God will destroy them that destroy the earth. People are looking for answers but, by and large, church people are worldly and concerned about themselves. The visible church today is largely false and looks like a caricature of a church when compared with the church in the book of Acts. The name of the Lord is blasphemed through the visible church and, in this day of apostasy, it is hard to find the word of the Lord.
