Welcome to A Brand New Day
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
PSALM 84:11-12

Dear Brother or Sister in Christ,God loves you. He knows everything about you. The Bible says that there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth. Through his Son, he has made you his child and joint-heir with Christ. God is a good Father. He takes great care of his children: he protects, comforts, provides, teaches, nutures, guides, loves, and desires your good.
Because Jesus has paid the debt for your sin, you are now free to worship God and to get to know Him. If you want Him to, He will do the impossible in your life. The Christian life is not complicated at all when it is lived as found in the Bible which is God's holy word. If you live right you will suffer, but even that is part of your growth. You will have peace in Jesus.
Remember that you walk simultaneously in the realm of the spiritual and the temporal. You are in the presence and care of God whether you are cooking dinner or sitting in a Christian fellowship. Whether you are praying or washing your car. Being a Christian is a lifestyle that affects every area of your life. If you walk with God (do things His way), you will be blessed.
Jesus said, "Whosoever loveth me keepeth my commandments." If you are a serious disciple of Jesus Christ, you will do His will. Here are some things that you must do to live victoriously in Jesus.
Read the Bible everyday. The Bible is God's word. This is how He talks to you. It is like no other book in the entire world. Start with the gospels--Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They tell about the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ into this world--his birth, life, death, and resurrection. It is good to have a man to guide and teach you about the Bible, but in these days of apostasy, it is hard to find a single person to help us on our way. When I began to walk with the Lord in 1991, God led me to read his word with great interest. I would hear preachers and meet different professing Christians and could tell if they were right or if they were wrong. YOU NEED TO READ YOUR AUTHORIZED (KING JAMES) VERSION. You can

You may not understand everything that you read the first time. You are not alone. The Holy Spirit will help you to understand what you need to know. I once heard a preacher say concerning the Bible, "There is a lot in this book that I do not know, but there is enough that I do know to keep me busy for a lifetime."
If you print out our copy of John it will be about 36 pages.
If you get sleepy when you begin to read the Bible, continue anyway! The devils that had control over you before you trusted Jesus don't want you to read the Bible--they do not want you free and strong. Reading the Bible will change your life--it certainly changed mine. The Holy Spirit will teach you how to overcome temptation, gain wisdom, trust God, know His will, have peace regardless of your circumstances, and so much more.
If you can find one, go to a Bible-believing church where the King James Bible of 1611 is taught as the only and final authority. I do not know of ONE good church. These are the days of heresy and apostasy and falling away that the Bible talks about. Even many Baptist churches teach heresies. Never call yourself a Baptist, Calvinist, etc. because the Bible does not call you this. Catholic, Mormon, Jehovah Witness, and a number of other organizations add other doctrines to the Bible. Unfortunately, there are a lot of cults that claim to be Christian--they teach a different gospel from that which is found in the Bible. This is another important reason for you to read the Bible. You will know the truth and the truth will make you free--nobody can fool you with false doctrine.
Please see the top of our index page. As you cursor down you will come to a yellow box that says, "To the unsaved". In this letter, I speak to the unsaved and to those who come to know Christ. There are words for you there. Please read it.
Get baptized. When you get baptized you are, 1) identifying with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ 2) making a public profession of your belief in Jesus 3) showing the washing away of sins. Water baptism is one of your first steps of obedience in a life of obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. I do not know where you can find a good church, these are the days of apostasy, but if you have a sanctified Christian friend, they can do it for you.
Talk to God in prayer everyday. Prayer is just talking to God about whatever is on your heart. Some of the things you can do in prayer: praise God's Holy Name for His goodness, thank Him for your daily provision and the specific things he has allowed you to accomplish, tell Him your concerns and problems, pray for others (your enemies, friends, associates and relatives), pray for yourself, pray for the government. This list is by no means exhaustive. As you read the Bible, you will find that your prayers will mature because you'll know the will of the Lord and His ways.
Forgive your enemies and anyone that you are embittered against. Bitterness in your heart can hinder your walk with Jesus. We are to love everyone, even our enemies (Matt 5:44). Don't forget, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." It is not our responsibility to take revenge on anybody. God judges rightly and He will handle any wrongs perpetrated against us, we're His children.
Love God supremely and love your neighbor (everybody you meet) as yourself. As God gives you opportunity and leading, tell others of Jesus and what he has done for you. This is confessing his name. You can read my testimony here. NOTE: New Christians oftentimes experience spiritual attacks. You may experience more temptations and problems than usual, but do not be discouraged and do not let these things take your eyes off of the Lord. Do not be surprised if your tire blows out or someone gets mad at you for no apparent reason. Pray, read the Bible, do good, trust in God and don't argue. Keep moving on with the Lord. God will work in your life.
