"...FROM THIS CHAMBER, I GOVERN...TO ALL THE WORLD, WITHOUT ANY ONE TO KNOW HOW I DO IT."

"See, sir, from this chamber I govern not only to Paris, but to China, not only to China, but to all the world, without any one to know how I do it [even as today in 2007]." {14} [Emphasis added] (brackets and bold theirs; underline on this webpage ours)

*** JESUIT GENERAL KNOWN AS THE "BLACK POPE" ***

Quote from Vatican Assassins, fourth edition, page 136 [only bold emphases ours]--

"In Roman Catholic circles it is well known that the Black Pope is the term used for the General of the Jesuits. As the Pope is always robed in white, and the General in black, the contrast is obvious. But those Romanists who do not greatly love the Jesuits, and their number is not limited, use the term as indicating that the Black Pope rules the White Pope. . . even while the former is obligated to make, at least, a show of submission to the latter."
M.F. Cusack, 1896
Converted Nun of Kenmare Convent
The Black Pope

*** JESUIT DEFINED ***

Definitions from Webster's 1828 Dictionary (emphases ours)--

JESUIT, n. One of the society of Jesus, so called, founded by Ignatius Loyola; a society remarkable for their cunning in propagating their principles.

JESUITICAL, a. Pertaining to the Jesuits or their principles and arts. 2. Designing, cunning; deceitful; prevaricating.

JESUITISM, n., The arts, principles and practices of the Jesuits. 2. Cunning; deceit; hypocrisy; prevarication; deceptive practices to effect a purpose.

PREVARICATION, n. A shuffling or quibbling to evade the truth or the disclosure of the truth; the practice of some trick for evading what is just or honorable; a deviation from the plain path of truth and fair dealing. [our note: unbelievable as it may seem, there are actually evil doctrines promulgated to "relieve" a mind into telling lies as long as that mind maintains a mental reservation (we read from J.A. Wylie (and see the same sentiment elsewhere) that the "the soldier of Loyola" exercises "mental and verbal equivocation" and a shield of "intention" whereby he is able to quench feelings of "human remorse" or "Divine threatenings," Vatican Assassins pp. 466-467). Such a person can calmly commit perjury, tell lies, etc. with a "clear" conscience because he maintained that "reservation". No matter how you cut it, a lie is a lie regardless of what kind of false doctrine is believed or engaged while telling that lie.]

Samuel Finley Breese Morse on the Jesuits (taken from Imminent Dangers to the Free Institutions of the United States through Foreign Immigrations, and the Present State of the Naturalization Laws (No. IV) published in 1835 (bold, underline emphases ours))--

Its [speaking of the Austrian Society] emissaries are here. And who are these emissaries? They are JESUITS. This society of men, after exerting their tyranny for upwards of 200 years, at length became so formidable to the world, threatening the entire subversion of all social order, that even the Pope, whose devoted subjects they are, and must be, by the vow of their society, was compelled to dissolve them. They had not been suppressed, however, for 50 years, before the waning influence of Popery and Despotism required their useful labours, to resist the spreading light of Democratic liberty, and the Pope, (Pius VII,) simultaneously with the formation of the Holy Alliance, revived the order of the Jesuits in all their power. From their vow of "unqualified submission to the Sovereign Pontiff," they have been appropriately called the Pope's body guard. It should be known, that Austrian influence elected the present Pope; his body guard are therefore at the service of Austria, and these are the soldiers that the Leopold Society has sent to this country, and they are agents of this society, to execute its designs, whatever these designs may be. And do Americans need to be told what Jesuits are? If any are ignorant, let them inform themselves of their history without delay; no time is to be lost: their workings are before you in every day's events: they are a secret society, a sort of Masonic order, with superadded features of most revolting odiousness, and a thousand times more dangerous. They are not confined to one class in society; they are not merely priests, or priests of one religious creed, they are merchants, and lawyers, and editors, and men of any profession, and no profession, having no outward badge, (in this country,) by which to be recognised; they are about in all your society. They can assume any character, that of angels of light, or ministers of darkness, to accomplish their one great end, the service upon which they are sent, whatever that service may be. "They are all educated men, prepared, and sworn to start at any moment, in any direction, and for any service, commanded by the general of their order, bound to no family, community, or country, by the ordinary ties which bind men; and sold for life to the cause of the Roman Pontiff."

These are the men at this moment ordered to America. And can they do nothing, Americans, to derange the free workings of your democratic institutions? Can they not, and do they not fan the slightest embers of discontent into a flame, those thousand little differences which must perpetually occur in any society, into riot, and quell its excess among their own people as it suits their policy and the establishment of their own control? Yes, they can be the aggressors, and contrive to be the aggrieved. They can do the mischief, and manage to be publicly lauded for their praiseworthy forbearance and their suffering patience. They can persecute, and turn away the popular indignation, ever roused by the cry of persecution from themselves, and make it fall upon their victim. They can control the press in a thousand secret ways. They can write under the signature of "Whig," to-day, and if it suits their turn, "Tory," to-morrow. They can be Democrat to-day, and Aristocrat to-morrow. They can out-American Americans in admiration of American institutions to-day, and "condemn them as unfit for any people" to-morrow. These are the men that Austria has sent here, that she supplies with money, with whom she keeps up an active correspondence, and whose officers (the Bishops) are passing back and forth between Europe and America, doubtless to impart that information orally which would not be so safe committed to writing.

Is there no danger to the Democracy of the country from such formidable foes arrayed against it?

***JESUIT ORDER ESTABLISHED BY A POPE, THEN DISSOLVED BY ANOTHER POPE, AND THEN RESTORED BY YET ANOTHER POPE ***

  • Ignatius de Loyola, founder and first general of the Roman Catholic Jesuit order, set about to counter the success of the Protestant Reformation in what is known as the "counter-reformation."
  • While the Jesuit order was formally established around 1540 by a papal bull, the Jesuits ended up causing so much widespread international political trouble and turmoil
  • that another pope (Clement XIV) suppressed the Jesuit order in 1773
  • Only a few decades later, in 1814, Pope Pius VII restored the Jesuit order by papal bull (Vatican Assassins, p. 363).

*** JESUITS EXPELLED EVEN BY CATHOLIC KINGS***

The Jesuits have been expelled even by Catholic kings for their political intrigues and overthrowing ways. One such king was King Joseph I of Portugal (see Vatican Assassins, pp. 364-365). King Joseph I's condemnation (1759) of the Jesuits mentions

"the licentiousness introduced by the Jesuits"

"perverted doctrines

  • which render murder innocent
  • which sanctify falsehood
  • authorize perjury
  • deprive the laws of their power
  • destroy the submission of subjects
  • allow individuals the liberty of calumniating, killing, lying, and foreswearing, as their consciences may dictate, which remove the fear of human and divine laws and permit a man to redress his own grievances without applying to the magistrate,

it is easy to see, without much penetration, that Christian and Civil Society could not subsist without a miracle. It was to be expected that such pernicious maxims would most effectually dissolve the strongest bonds which could be found for preserving commerce and union of mankind."

In his banishment of the Jesuits (which followed the condemnation), King Joseph I of Portugal states (see VA, p. 365--emphases ours)--

". . .in order to protect my royal honor, which is equally the life and soul of the whole monarchy; in order to maintain uninjured my independence as sovereign and ruler; in order to remove from the midst of my dominions such extraordinary and great vexation, and to shield my subjects from similar frightful occurrences with their sad results, I declare the so-called ecclesiastics--the Jesuits, namely--to be thoroughly corrupt. . ."

King Joseph I also states in his banishment of the Jesuits (see VA, p. 365--emphases ours)--

"I declare them to be notorious rebels, traitors, enemies, and disturbers of the peace, who have opposed, and will again oppose, my royal person and Government, the public peace of my kingdom, and the general welfare of my subjects, and, therefore order that each and every one of them may be looked upon as rebels and traitors, and treated as such...."

*** "...IMPRESSED IGNORANT AND FANATICAL MINDS..." ***

Concerning the attempted assassination of King Joseph I of Portugal, Richard W. Thompson states that the Jesuits "had impressed ignorant and fanatical minds with the idea that no wrong was committed by killing a heretical king..." (see VA, p. 365) This harks back to Roman Catholic recusancy where Catholics have been released from obeying kings out of favor with Rome and could harm and kill those kings--such a killing was considered a meritorious act.

In the infamous "Gunpowder Plot" of 1605 King James himself was a target of such an assassination attempt (replete with Jesuits among the conspirators)--but in his 1605 speech to Parliament (in the wake of the discovery of the plot) he graciously desired that not all Roman Catholics be blamed for the actions of the guilty.

"...That I would be sorry that any being innocent of this practice, either domestic or foreign, should receive blame or harm for the same. For although it cannot be denied, That it was the only blind superstition of their errors in religion, that led them to this desperate devise; yet does it not follow, that all professing that Romish religion were guilty of the same. For as it is true, that no other sect of heretiques, not excepting Turke, Jew, nor Pagan, no not even those of Calicute, who adore the devill, did ever maintaine by the grounds of their religion, that it was lawful, or rather meritorious (as the Romish Catholics call it) to murder princes or people for quarrell of religion. And although particular men of all professions of religion have been some thieves, some murderers, some traitors, yet ever when they came to their end and just punishment, they confessed their fault to be in their nature, and not in their profession, (these Romish Catholics only excepted:) yet it is true on the other side, that many honest men blinded peradventure with some opinions of popery...yet do they either not know, or at least not believe all the trew grounds of popery, which is in deed The mystery of iniquitie...

Napoleon on the Jesuits--

"THE JESUITS ARE A MILITARY ORGANIZATION, NOT A RELIGIOUS ORDER. THEIR CHIEF IS A GENERAL OF AN ARMY, not the mere father abbot of a monastery. And THE AIM OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS: POWER. Power in its most despotic* exercise. Absolute power, UNIVERSAL POWER, power TO CONTROL THE WORLD BY THE VOLITION OF A SINGLE MAN. Jesuitism is the most absolute of despotisms; and at the same time the greatest and the most enormous of abuses."

"The general of the Jesuits insists on being master, sovereign, over the sovereign. Wherever the Jesuits are admitted they will be masters, cost what it may. Their society is by nature dictatorial, and therefore it is the irreconcilable enemy of all constituted authority. Every act, every crime, however atrocious, is a meritorious work, if committed for the interest of the Society of the Jesuits, or by the order of its general." (Memorial of the Captivity of Napoleon at St. Helena, by General Montholon, vol. ii. pp. 62, 174 as quoted in Fifty Years in the Church of Rome (chapter 59) by Charles Chiniquy, converted Roman Catholic priest)

*Despotic power means absolute power wielded in whatever manner the ruler wants to use power, no matter how arbitrary--he does whatever he feels like doing no matter how outrageous, crooked, and unlawful. Under a despot, the people have no say whatsoever.
DESPOT, n. An emperor, king or prince [or whatever title the ruler may have] invested with absolute power, or RULING WITHOUT ANY CONTROL FROM men, CONSTITUTION OR LAWS. Hence in a general sense, A TYRANT. [THERE IS NOBODY TO STOP HIM! HE CAN DO WHATEVER HE FEELS LIKE DOING.]

Those that have looked at the dealings of the Mother through the centuries might conclude that a person could only be one of two things under her administration...

  • her oppressed, deceived victim adhering to her absolutist decrees and proclamations; and/or,
  • the recipient of her wrath.

*** SEASONABLE QUOTES ***

The following quotes are taken from, A Meditation upon certain verses of the 20. Chapter of the Revelation by King James found in his Workes, pp. 78, 80 (emphases ours)--

".. hath he [the pope] not of late days, seeing his kingdom going to decay, sent out the Jesuites, his last and most pernicious vermin, to stir up the Princes of the earth his slaves, to gather and league themselves together for his defense, rooting out of all them that professe Christ truly?

"And whereas the open enemy of God, the Turke [referring to the Muslim] was under bloody wares with him ever before, is there not of late a truce among them, that the faithful may be the more easily rooted out?

[Photograph (pope_arafat.jpg): Arafat holding Pope John Paul II's hand.

Why is Islam gaining worldwide power given its notorious acts of terrorism while the Bible is being continuously criticized and peaceful, law-abiding Christians are being increasingly persecuted and marginalized?]

"...the stronger they wax and the neerer they come to their light, the faster approcheth their wracke, and the day of our delivery: For kind, and loving, true, and constant, careful, and watchful, mighty, and revenging is he that promiseth it: To whom be praise and glory for ever. A M E N. "
